Leadership
Nami Enterprises LLC was
founded by Christine Okamoto in 1998, combining
her experience in education, linguistics, translation
and cross-cultural communication. Fueled by her
passion for bringing cultures together and supported
by a team of the best bilingual and bicultural
talent available, Nami Enterprises is helping
a growing number of international companies create
positive overseas business relationships. Having
lived and worked in Japan, Christine is well acquainted
with Japanese culture and business practices.
Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese, she
holds the highest-level certificate of Japanese
language proficiency awarded by the Japan Board
of Education. Christine has also lived in Singapore,
Taiwan and Colombia, and has spent most of her
life learning to adapt to other cultures and languages.
Christine holds a BA in Chinese from the George
Washington University and an MA in linguistics
from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
